Six things about me

My husband and closest friends won’t be too surprised that I’m a member of TwitterMoms, and I there isn’t much they don’t know about me already. But thanks to @babytimebags I’ve been tagged, which means that you, my loyal blog reader, get to learn six things you may not know about me.

  1. I had five majors in college that included, Accounting, Biochemistry, Microbiology, and Physical Therapy. I ended up with an Engligh undergraduate degree.
  2. During college, I used to work from 3 pm to midnight at a microbiology company drawing samples of what amounts to hot, brown muck that I had to look at under the microscope every hour for viable cells. The worst part of the job was from 6 pm until my shift ended it was just me and the creepy $5/hour security guard – I was always on edge!
  3. My husband was my first real boyfriend. I was 25 when we met and had only dated…never for longer than 90 days, which was my cut-off. If I couldn’t stand a man after 90 days, I just cut him loose. My husband has been by my side for more than 10 years now, so he’s a keeper!
  4. Without fail, I will fall asleep if I go see a movie at the theater, no matter what time of day I go. I recall going on a date with a guy in high school who didn’t appreciate that and made sure I knew about it. What? Was he expecting to make out or something? My husband never gets mad about it…yet another reason he’s a keeper.

  1. Michele I share one of your “6”. Most people don’t know that I’m a science major (Chemistry and Biology) and not a marketing major. Instead of drawing muck, I worked in the Psychic lab.
Look forward to meeting you this weekend.
